Job description :
As a rotor dynamics engineer, you are assigned to design, develop and validate the core areas of – the rotor hub, gearbox, bearing, shaft, and sub-systems. You will responsible for innovative system module ideation, prototype construction, and guidance of the other teams in the area of rotor dynamics
Core responsibilities :
• Project planning and management
• Design assigned parts and explore innovative advancement methods
• Perform analysis of the assigned part on the timeline
• Guide teams and communicate with project stakeholders
• Construct POC prototypes
Qualifications/Requirements :
• Mechanical Engineering-
(Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR
Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience OR
• Advanced understanding of turbomachinery
• Advanced understanding of rotor dynamics
• Advanced understanding of rotating sub-system assemblies
• System testing and validation process
• US Citizenship
Desired Characteristics :
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• High proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and SAP
• Excellent problem-solving skill-set
• Customer requirement-focused development and project planning
• Higher understanding of CAE simulation solvers
• MDAO automation process management
Eligibility Requirements :
