Location- Austin, Texas, US

Job description :

As a flight test engineer, you will be a part of our flight test and validation group which focuses on advanced flight testing, systems limitation, and certification processes. Experimental systems testing, real-life systems validation, and hybrid flight test data analysis will be your team's primary responsibilities. Multi-Systems monitoring and safety analysis projection will be your core objectives.

Core responsibilities :

    • Testing Project planning and management
    • Innovation and technically advanced instrumentation ideation and construction
    • Certification requirement focused on testing cycle implementation
    • Systems limitation and safety analysis
    • Test flight data management
    • Digital twin and real-time systems
    • Multi-domain team integration in the project schedule
    • Knowledge and experience in multi-domain aero-mechanical structures and sub-systems
    • Coupled real-time environment systems behavior analysis
    • Safety and emergency processes management
    • Flight simulation unit software modeling
    • Co-operation between multi-domain teams

Qualifications/Requirements :

    • Aerospace Engineering-
(Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR  
Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience OR
    • Advanced understanding of aircraft certifications
    • Advanced understanding of advanced flight system behaviors
    • Advanced understanding of systems safety and limitations monitoring
    • Advanced understanding of internal and external systems flight operation testings
    • Advanced understanding of systems Plm cycles
    • Advanced understanding of flight maneuvers
    • Advanced understanding of flight data management and analysis
    • Backup power generation
    • Numerical simulation methodologies
    • Proven analytical and organizational cooperation ability
    • US Citizenship
