Digital factory and controller

Location- Austin, Texas, US

Job description :

You are working in the field factory units, custom machinery, floor automation, and unit upgradation cycles. As a digital manufacturing engineer, you will be managing your assigned factory floor. Alongside that, you will be closely working with multiple domain teams for the further advancement of our industry 4.0+ factory and MRO stations. 

Core responsibilities :

    • Project planning and management
    • Manufacturing control
    • Manufacturing machinery gradation & implementation cycles
    • Multi-domain team integration in the project schedule
    • Digital factory management
    • Manufacturing process supervisory
    • Team leadership and communicating with management
    • Production equipment advancement cycles implementation

Qualifications/Requirements :

    • Electrical, Automation Engineering-
(Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR  
Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience OR
    • Advanced understanding of processes control
    • Advanced understanding of  mechatronics 
    • Advanced understanding of manufacturing equipment
    • Advanced understanding of industries 4.0 methodologies
    • Advanced understanding of digital manufacturing methodologies
    • Understanding of digital manufacturing
    • Experience with SCADA
    • Experience with production floor
    • Experience with inventory management
    • Experience with supply-chain
    • System monitoring 
    • US Citizenship 

Desired Characteristics :

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • High proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and SAP
    • Excellent problem-solving skill-set
    • Customer requirement-focused development and project planning
    • Higher understanding of CAE simulation solvers
    • System modification and advancement process
