Job description :

As a thermodynamics engineer will be responsible for the design, assistance, coordination, and develop thermal systems. Advanced thermo-mechanical, thermal fluidics, cooling system, and system analysis will be the core area of your workflow. Guidance and communication with multiple teams for broader company project management will be in your task profiles.

Core responsibilities :

    • Project planning and management
    • Expert guidance for assigned team collaboration roles
    • Design assigned parts and explore innovative advancement methods
    • Perform analysis of the assigned part on the timeline
    • Perform innovative design methodologies and optimization
    • Perform post-manufacturing treatment and curing 
    • Develop part repairing methods
    • Guide teams and communicate with project stakeholders
    • Construct POC prototypes 
    • Design and validate manufacturing methods
    • Design control methods and system integration methodologies
    • Technical and financial forecasting of the project

Qualifications/Requirements :

    • Mechanical Engineering OR Aerospace -
(Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience OR  
Advanced Degree and 5 years of experience OR
    • Advanced understanding of  aerothermal systems
    • Advanced understanding of  thermo-fluidics 
    • Advanced understanding of thermo-mechanical analysis
    • Understanding of heat transfer methodologies
    • Understanding of CAE simulation and solver packages 
    • Understanding of thermal system dynamics
    • Understanding of inspection methods
    • System testing and validation process
    • US Citizenship 

Desired Characteristics :

    • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    • High proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, and SAP
    • Excellent problem-solving skill-set
    • Customer requirement-focused development and project planning
    • Higher understanding of CAE simulation solvers
    • MDAO automation process management
